WE’RE NOT YOUR TYPICAL DESIGN FIRM
At Embellish, we strive to provide a different design experience to the client. Unlike other design firms, we are not solely wedded to the latest trends, colors of the year, or a specific “signature” style that is ultimately more about the designer than the client.
Instead, our team works with the client to create a Mood Goal and a Money Goal, that is specifically tailored to their personal needs, the style of the home and is within their overall budget to create a holistic environment.
Our focus is client-centric and is devised to work in a collaborative manner between the homeowner and their architect and builder. Just as the best architecture and construction efforts necessitate the flow of ideas and information between these parties, the color selections, interior finishes, and furnishings are a critical component in the completion of the project and turning a dream into a unique home. We are with the team until the client deems it done – we will never say ‘we’ll take it from here’.

Individualized design utilizing color, texture, natural elements (such as light and landscape) and our proprietary client-centric questionnaire. Not all interior design is about budget and the brands one chooses. It is about how color and surroundings speak to the subconscious and overall mood. Becoming in tune with the mood of, and within, the home can give the client and the consultant great power. Recognizing personal triggers for anxiety, depression, discomfort, low energy etc. is a tool for us to use in assessing what environment needs to be created in concert with a beautiful design.
Creating a Money Goal that works by helping individual clients and architects/builders meet the overall budget goals. Simply put, the Money Goal for interior design should be a reasonable percentage of the overall project budget. Too often, this last and important element gets over-blown and out of control. One way to rein in spending is to ensure that the design team is on board from the beginning and works continuously throughout the project to completion.
In addition to the Mood Goal interior design elements, we provide finishes and fixtures for homeowners, as well as support for architectural firms and builders, utilizing sustainable elements and local resources where possible. Working holistically with the architectural design style and era and overall budget results in creating a space that is both functional and complementary to the energy/mood required for that function, and will lead to a higher quality of life and an improved association with the room and task at hand.
